{"id":1448,"date":"2015-04-15T14:11:57","date_gmt":"2015-04-15T14:11:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/japangathering.org\/en\/?page_id=1448"},"modified":"2019-03-22T06:29:57","modified_gmt":"2019-03-22T06:29:57","slug":"importantnotice","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/japangathering.org\/en\/importantnotice\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Notice"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Registration:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Please note that all participants are required to register for the gathering.<\/li>\n<li>Please be sure to bring along the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>QR code and registration number<\/strong><\/span> you received in your confirmation email when entering the venue.<\/li>\n<li>If for any reason you did not receive a registration number, please email us at <a href=\"mailto:info@japangathering.org\"><u>info@japangathering.org<\/u><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The registration will begin at the venue 3rd floor on March 27th at 4:00pm (16:00).<\/strong> Please come early to receive your wrist bands and avoid traffic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Arriving in Japan:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>When you go through immigration at <strong>KIX (Kansai International Airport)<\/strong>, please have the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">address &amp; phone number of your stay (hotel) ready<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Please take note that if you do not have an address you may be held for hours at the airport, so please have it ready on hand.<\/li>\n<li>For reason of stay, you may write either <strong>tour<\/strong> or <strong>attending a Christian conference<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sim Card:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You may book your Sim card before coming to Japan with very cost effective ways.<br \/>\nPlease <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kkday.com\/en\/product\/12008\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">click here<\/a> to book your sim card and pick it up in the KIX Airport Terminal 1.<\/li>\n<li>You may obtain prepaid SIM cards or rent portable wifi in KIX Airport Terminal 1 onsite.<\/li>\n<li>Please take a look at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/prepaidsim.visitjapanplaces.com\/lp\/detail\/2\"><u>this link<\/u><\/a><\/strong> to know how or where to obtain sim card in KIX Airport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"woo-sc-box note   \">Most hotels will have wifi and internet in the room or lobby. This will save time as you can avoid the queue and process of purchasing train tickets each time you travel.<\/p>\n<p>You may obtain the card from JR Help Desks named <strong>Midorino Madoguchi<\/strong> from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>JR Station within Kansai International Airport (the counter is connected to Terminal 1 walking out from second floor)<\/li>\n<li>JR Kyoto Station<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* You may choose to line-up at the counter or buy from a machine nearby. There will be English language available in the machine, but please be advised that it may be a slightly unfamiliar and complicated process.<\/p>\n<div class=\"woo-sc-box info   \"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At the counter you will be required to pay JPY 2000 (JPY 1500 usage + JPY 500 deposit).<\/li>\n<li>At the end of the stay, please return the card to the counter to be refunded your deposit of JPY 500.<\/li>\n<li>If you have remaining funds in your card and would like to receive a refund in cash, a charge of JPY 220 will be applied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"woo-sc-box alert   \">Please note that ICOCA cards are available from the <strong>Midorino Madoguchi<\/strong> counters at JR stations listed above (within the airport or in Kyoto Station. Also you can get the ICOCA card from vending machines in various stations within Kyoto.<\/div>\n<h2>Money:<\/h2>\n<p>Although there are banks that exchange money near the venue, it is safer to exchange money at the airport. If possible, it is best to change money in your own country.<\/p>\n<p>Please take note that credit cards are not used often for other transactions in Japan, so <strong>it is safer to carry cash<\/strong> around in order to buy food or snacks at convenience stores.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please note that lunch boxes at the venue can only be bought with <strong>Japanese yen in cash<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For your expenditures for food and transportation during the gathering, we suggest to exchange a minimum of 30,000yen (US\u00a0$300).<\/li>\n<li>At the gathering there will be times for <strong>free will offering<\/strong>. We are able to take offerings via Credit Card on-site. We would greatly appreciate for you to prepare in advance as the Lord leads. Thank you for sowing into Japan and His kingdom!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Passport:<\/h2>\n<p>Please be sure to <strong>always carry your passport with you<\/strong>, do not leave it in the hotel room.<\/p>\n<h2>International Calls:<\/h2>\n<p>Most hotels will have information on how to make international calls. Please follow the hotel instructions.
